A while back I donated 3 journal features to the winner and two runners up of =Tajii-chan's Black and White vs. Colour contest. Well the winners have been announced!!! And here they are...



NUMBER 1...

In first place was *Yivae [link] with her piece "Collab : The Art Brings Colour" which is a cleverly crafted collaboration with interesting perspective and shows how art brings colour into your life. I really like this piece because of the clever merging of harsh black lines and fluid, liquid colour. Please go and look at this. [link]

NUMBER 2...

In second place was *EnshroudedVixen [link] with her piece "Advocacy" which shows Black, White and Colour as a family. In her words "Colour has a lot more possibilities, opportunities, and talents to offer than Black and White, but without their guidance, Colour can't be the best it can be." The shading and characters are gorgeous. Definately check this out. [link]

NUMBER 3...

In third place was ~VK-oelala [link] with her piece ".: let the color escape you :." which is a very clever piece with awesome characters. I particularly like the hair on the human girl. The artist says "I have chosen that the color side will win of the B/W side. The colored girl pretends the side of colors and the robot the one of black an white. She is an robot because they have no emotions. It's kind like a prison. And the colored girl has the key ( she is holding it) to let her escape." Please go and have a peek. [link]

(And btw for anyone who is interested, a few weeks ago I dumped my boyfriend and now another guy has asked me out. I adore him! So that's why I have such a weird mood today )
